Ingredients

Lemon-ginger Tea – Adds a subtle flavor that goes well with pineapple. The ginger adds a slight spice. While lemon pairs well with tropical fruits.

Honey – Slightly sweetens the tea.

Ice – Keeps your drink cold. Adding too much ice can water down your drink.

Pineapple – Fresh pineapple brings makes this drink delicious and tangy.

Mango Juice – Enriches the pineapple flavor. Instead of using pineapple juice, I opted for mango juice because it adds additional flavors that taste phenomenal.

Note: When shopping for mango juice, you may see a beverage called mango nectar. You can make the pineapple mocktail with this as well. Using a citrus fruit like lime may create a harsh after-taste, so mango juice is best.

Sparkling Water – Plain sparkling water compliments the flavor and gives it a nice, bubbly fizz.

How To Make Pineapple Mocktails

Brew the tea – Brew the lemon-ginger tea with a kettle or microwave 1/2 cup of water for 1 minute. After brewing the tea, place a tea bag in the tea. Let it steep in the refrigerator until chilled.

Make the pineapple-mango blend – Use a blender to purée the pineapple and juice for about 2 minutes. The puree should be smooth and have no chunks of pineapple.

Top with sparkling water – Pour sparkling water to your preferred taste. Stir everything together. Pour the pineapple mocktail into a 15 ounce glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
